It is not the weak that die out, but those who are unable to adapt.
This is a common misunderstanding of Darwin's theory.
Actually, you're stating a misunderstanding of Darwin's theory, as well.
Both the weak and the strong eventually die. Those who adapt die just as much as those who don't die.
HOWEVER, over time, a sub-species that can adapt to new conditions is more likely to have more offspring before dying than a sub-species that can not adapt.
Uh, the're not a chance in hell it will get iOS6. Hell, Apple's new apps (iPhoto) don't support it anymore. It got 2 major updates, and since Apple hasn't sold the iPad for more than a year there's nothing to suggest it will get the next major update. It's sluggish enough with iOS5.
I agree (unfortunately) regarding IOS 6. But I do want to say that whatever voodoo they did with 5.1 has had a *sensational* impact on my first gen iPad: not a single Safari crash since upgrading, and it's smooth as silk once more. Not sluggish at all. Basically, they saved they device for me; it had become so unstable in the last couple of months that I was about to ditch it in favor of an 11" Air. Not any more!

Would one who is unable to adapt not be considered weak?
