    I didn't insult you.

Congratulations. You bought a tech gadget that suits your needs. It's not a big deal.

I just said it was a better experience. Web browsing is a better experience in 4:3. That's a fact. As is art creation. That's a fact.

Now if you wanted to say that the Galaxy Note style stylus input option is better for art creation, you'd have a huge point. It is. But widescreen is a definite disadvantage.

And no, I wouldn't defend apple if they released a widescreen tablet.

No web browsing is better with a widescreen fact. No art creation is better with a widescreen. Oh wow that is fun.

Wait don't take my word for it lets ask the professionals .............. sorry we have to ask them later their all on the floor dying of laughter.

Ah I can't do this anymore your just being silly.

Sorry can't we agree to disagree. It's not my fault that I now like widescreen surfing. Every single monitor sold now is widescreen. Most of the websites now are optimized to use the extra space. Besides the only place I think you can still find a 4:3 screen is a recycling center. Well and on a iPad because you know Apple they think different, just in this case their mind must be stuck in 1999. I kid, I kid.

Yay I did, thanks that's the nicest thing anybody has said. It's usually Android sucks or something to that effect. Thanks sorry for getting carried away.

I'd have said all those apps are better on 4:3. iPhoto, Photoshop and Office primarily deal with paper sizes, which all have aspects closer to the iPad aspect ratio than any other:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photo_print_sizes

16:9 = 1.78 = far away from all print sizes.

With apps like iTunes and Mail, you get more vertical content while in landscape, which is what you want so that there's less scrolling.

Web browsing is largely the same on both as you just zoom in and out.

The biggest flaw with 16:9 is that holding it in portrait looks very wrong and it obviously has a worse weight distribution that way as you hold it from the base.

OMG!!... I can't believe how crappy the Galaxy Tab (and Asus T-Prime) are for watching video!!

I am truly shocked and saddened by their choice of a 16:9 aspect ratio screen!

It's as if they don't realize that there are videos out there in formats other than 16:9!!!

Samsung and Asus are SO shortsighted.

Just the other day, I tried to watch a You-Tube video on a Galaxy Tab in full-screen ... but the video was not in a 16:9 format... it had black bars on the sides of the video!!!... I almost threw up it was so bad!... completely unwatchable!!

I've got this entire collection of (older) DVD videos that I've ripped to my computer and I absoutely cannot watch them at all on Samsung products because the screen is in a 16:9 format and the videos are all in a 4:3 format.

It just makes me nauseous to try to watch them with those black bars on either side!

I can't believe they would produce a product that doesn't fit my exact needs !!! They really aren't as good as their sales numbers would indicate!... This shortcoming will catch up with them soon and they will be doomed. DOOMED I TELL 'YA!!!!
