You do realize that S-Voice's voice recognition is powered by Vlingo, and Vlingo was acquired by Nuance for use in Siri, don't you? Considering the development came from the same origins, why is it so outrageous that the end products are so similar?

Or maybe you just blindly thought that all this technology was developed in-house by Apple, and therefore, copied by Samsung?

In regards to the desktop arena, is your memory really that short that you forgot the GINORMOUS Apple vs Microsoft case? Considering they lost that case and over 70% of Apple's revenue comes from iOS, it makes no sense to challenge that losing desktop battle again.

What does that have to do with anything? Apple is the leader in OS development and wants people to innovate rather than copy. How does Microsoft change that?

In regards to the current mobile lawsuits, virtually none of the cases are being ruled in Apple's favor with the exception of a few minor victories. Considering that massive numbers of allegations are being filed with little results, the situation could certainly be perceived as Apple simply abusing the system in an attempt to slow down the competition. If companies are indeed stealing Apple's designs and technology, as you claim, why are these allegations not being substantiated in the courts???

You must be living on a different planet. Apple has won quite a few victories.

Huh??? You do realize that comment was made in reply to your comment of "Is Apple suing HP or Toshiba or anyone else in the desktop arena? Nope."???

I guess if it had to "do with anything", it would be to show that once again, you were making completely inaccurate statements.

Really??? Please do tell, because apparently you know something the rest of us don't.

As far as I'm concerned a limited PI in Germany for design infringement, and an Exclusion Order in the US from a quasi-judicial agency for a single decade-old patent does not qualify as "quite a few victories". Both of these "victories" have had a trivial impact, and hardly count as significant considering the HANDFULS of allegations from Apple that have been dismissed or ruled against.

Tell you what, why don't you come up with a list of victories (should be easy since there are "quite a few"), and I will give you 3 dismissed/ruled against allegations for every 1 victory you can come up with....
