It is funny how the center metallic part of the back panel resembles the size of an ideal screen at front.
It seems like it is going to be asymmetrical though with the screen significantly smaller due to archaic Home button at the bottom and centered camera at the top.
I think this design (metal and glass back panel) would only look good if the screen matched the metal part's size.

That would be sexy. A nice big edge to edge screen and flip it over and you have a metal back for inductive charging.

But they could keep the home button. It just need to be smaller.

yes and no on this one.

It's an easy trick to say that there will be a new iPhone in Sept/Oct and at 4-6 weeks before that moment is likely, well it's an easy call to say that they are starting production. That isn't news.

What will be news is when someone claims a prototype was 'forgotten' in a bar/cafe somewhere and all the Apple bullying etc that happens. I give it another 2 weeks before that stunt hits. After all it was such good hit fodder for the past 2 years of course someone will try it again. Oh and guess what, that prototype looks just like the 'iPhone 5' from last year. so it was real they just had the timing wrong. Yeah for all those case makers that made new cases last year and were stuck with them. Now they are way ahead of the game

The "iPhone 5" last year was tapered and thinner and curved and looked nothing at all like what we've seen this year in any aspect save for the name.

And doesn't mean Jack. It's possible that both last year and this years rumors are way off. for all we know, they are going back to the 3gs design.
