That didn't stop the trial that I sat on as a juror being dismissed because one of the jurors read something about the defendant in the media.
I don't know the full circumstances there. Guessing they had no alternates and the juror disobeyed the judge's order unless it was somehow incidental. Much of what they brought up was already in the public domain, so it received some publicity. Beyond that I'm not sure how Samsung would really benefit from such an outcome.

It is not merely a matter of copying, but rather copying so egregiously and obviously.
Not only did they tip off Apple's "crazy" no keyboard touch idea, but they even had to copy the icons and colors? Ridiculous.
