Can't wait to see how the analysts spin this, now that they have been proven wrong.
They'll spin it the same way they did when they were wrong the other hundred times before. The fool is the person that keeps paying them for their "analysis".
I'm pretty surprised DED would purposely omit mentioning that the sales figures and article concern only US sales, and at the same time use worldwide estimated sales numbers as proof they lied. They may have (and probably did fudge them. . . maybe a LOT) but the article as written is no better with lots of fudging itself.
Why Apple want to enter the 7" market if sales are so low?
It isn't technically the 7" market. Apple's "mini" is more like an 8", and the 4:3 ratio (vs 16:9) gives it something like 30% more screen real estate… so it would be notably larger (and more usable) than competitor's 7" tablets...
