I honestly trust Hackers more then my own government. Anyone who believes there government's is truthful and honest is a joke.

Really am I the only one who thinks that the FBI doesn't have to ask for any information.

    Exactly.

"you can't prove it, so we must be innocent" seems to be the argument. The FBI really ought to know better.

I think Congress will call whomever they like to call... and the FBI is trying to say... 'it's not us!!!!  Look someplace else!!!!'

Thus the guilt by association (who would have UDIDs?  why?  If not the FBI/NSA/Carnivore sort of action... then who... oh, Apple made the darn things... and who knows what get's shipped up with 'Find my iPhone'  or an Apple App Store purchase...   that's plausible... it must have been Apple who was breached!!!!!")

But yes, the fact that the FBI are just lawyers with badges and guns, makes me think that when they said "this information was not off of one of our laptops" it could have been on a flash drive, or a mainframe account, or a google doc, or hell, a floppy drive in and FBI person's personal car...  But the 'accusation' isn't true, therefore they can deny it.

You're right. It's disgraceful. Something MUST be done.

A la carte programming, Apple. Do it! We're paying WAY too much for TV!

Meaning, you can't prove we did it, so we aren't admitting anything yet.

Wait.  Is the FBI making a non-denial denial?

Hackers:  "We stole these from an FBI computer"

    FBI:  "You didn't steal that"

    Hackers:  "Yes we did"

    FBI:  "We never had that"

    Apple:  "We didn't give that"

    Consumers:  "You are all idiots"

    "Who's on first?"

    "UDIDs on hard drives."

    This statement is absolutely ridiculous...

You can't buy an 80" television for $298.

AntiSec, unwilling or unable to generate Fear, settle on supplying UDID's (Uncertainty, Doubt In Devices).

Sooner bet this has more to do with one of the following:

    1) Attempt at stock manipulation.

    2) Android/Samsung fan with some hacked UDID info trying to throw cold water on iPhone 5.

Because that's certainly a bastion of accuracy.
