Oh, so now AI officially labels Apple gear as "pricey" even though the prices are the same as last year. Why not just go ahead and call them "overpriced" like the trolls do and be done with it. AI is starting to become extremely annoying.

So either "pricey" doesn't mean "overpriced" or the trolls were right.

    Which is it?

Something can be expensive and "pricey" without being overpriced.

Works great as a shim under a table leg.  Or a hockey puck (briefly).  Or you could get a set and use them as high-tech coasters.

Can I purchase an iPhone 5 without a contract? If so, who would I buy it from and how much would a 32gb and 64gb cost? I have a black Verizon 32gb 4S that I'd like to trade in, but only if it makes $ense.

I'm about to drop $800 at Amazon.

In a few months, from Apple, for $749 and $849, respectively.

Might not take a few months. Especially with Verizon's requiring you to pay full price if you want to keep your unlimited data plan. Apple is not going to wnt those sales to go to the carrier stores. They want to keep all sales in house as much as they can.

They're going to make you pay full price for a locked one. Those are already out.

How is this news? Myself and a ton of other Apple iPhone owners have been doing this since 2007?  :D

I'm very shocked TriPhonia is not on this list. They paid more than all of these people on the list. I sold my iPhone 4S 16GB to them for $375 a little while ago. Got payment through PayPal immediately. Gazelle is a total ripoff. I would suggest TriPhonia.com

    Thanks iPhone4, nice resource.

Just wondering though, will deactivating my phone, to sell, mess with my plan? I don't want to lose my unlimited plan that I'm grandfathered into.

I don't think so. Not by just deactiating your phone. Deactivating that line will definately will but not by just deactivating your phone. I would ask Verizon or Sprint or whoever you have. Or TriPhonia just to make sure
