The ones on eBay look better and cheaper. There are several sellers with excellent ratings offering these for under $12 with free shipping. A typical description:
Lightning to 30-pin Adapter for iPhone 5, Ipod 5, iPod nano 7th generation
This genric adapter connects these new devices to older iOS devices, including car charger, audio and clock docks, etc.- Apple's created an adapter to accommodate 30-pin connectors. The cost of connecting? Order one from the Apple store for $29 and they will ship in October. Or order from me for half price and have it shipped by the end of September.

Must still be working on the reverse engineering of it....
The question is how well these third party adapters will handle analog audio output for things like speaker docks that don't use digital audio. The Apple adapter has the electronics to provide analog audio output which presumably results in high quality, low noise sound. These aftermarket adapters might not do it as well and in some cases, will probably just be pin converters that don't do it at all.
It's not just the third-party adaptors - on Apple's website it says its LIghning to 30-pin adaptor will not support "Video Out" or "iPod Out". We won't know what even the Apple adaptor can do until somebody tries it. To me, "iPod Out" means analog audio, so it's possible even the Apple adaptor won't work with current car stereo 30-pin cables, speaker docks, etc. I hope that's not the case, but we won't know for a while.

I've read that iPod out specifically means the remote control of iTunes that some cars do.
Shopped is an understatement....look at this blow up with all the artifacts around the name and you can see how it isn't even centered...

LOL, Amazon will end up shipping a box with a dead fish inside to thousands of people before the complaints from their customers alert them to this vendor fraud.

Analog audio out is supported, but not video. You're expected to use AirPlay for video.
SCAM Alert! A couple of weeks ago the only adapter I could find to convert my 7th gen IPOD nano to a 30-pin cost $45.00. I ordered it and it worked fine. I saw one this week from Price Beaters for $1.25 (!!). I received it today and it does not work. I notice that the Price Beater version weighs much less that the working unit. I strongly suspect that there are no guts to this adapter although it looks identical from the outside. Don't fall for this one - a great price, a bogus product
I am looking for a third party charger but I am a bit confused on which one to buy. I also saw one from Amazon this iphone charger compatible with iOS 8, but I don't know what's the difference between the two? Just making sure if this one is better than the other one. Really wanting to buy this one. Please pm me on how I could buy your product. Thanks!
When I don't have enough budget to buy an original apple charger, I always look for those from Amazon because there are trusted ones there. Look for those apple certified like this one.
We just need to be careful which third party cables are we going to buy. Yes it is much cheaper than those of the original ones, but it has been proven and tested that it works perfectly fine just like those of the original ones. If I am going to buy one, I would go to buy it in amazon and read its product reviews first before buying it because the customers who've bought and tested it already.
Does anybody happens to buy this one and tried it on their iphone 5?

Nah - they got them from Samsung.
Just as we all assumed, less than a week after the iPhone announcement, there are already tons of (unproven) knockoffs on eBay for half the price

No need for a Lightning adapter. Apple has reconsidered and dropped Lightning entirely:
