I want Zerox to come out of the woodworks and sue Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, Android etc etc for all of them copying the "WIMPS" concept. Smack!
BTW, there never was a Zerox, thus it's all in your head... (can't even hit the right key huh?... proof that trolls are blind, and they laugh Maniacally... thus should it not be ZEROZ? ) Smack!
I thought Samsung was talking smack saying they would move to stop sales of the iPhone 5 immediately after it shipped.
I didn't know adding the iPhone 5 to a case that's coming up in 2014 was the same as "immediately".
Samsung, you coward, why haven't you filed new cases to stop iPhone 5 sales right now? Like you tried to do with the 4S last year in 5 countires and got denied every single time. Maybe you're still smarting from those failed attempts?
I still don't understand why Samsung is trying to fight this out in California in Apple's backyard. As iJudge Koh demonstrated in the recent highly biased case, Samsung has zero chance of getting a fair trial. Should learn from Apple and take it to the Eastern District of Texas or the Dusseldorf Court in Germany for patent infringement cases.
If Samsung wants to waste their time with exercises in futility rather than compete in the marketplace, that's fine with me. A jury already slapped them down once when they tried to use FRAND 3G patents. They aren't going to have any more success using 4G patents.
Just learning from Apple - if you can't beat them in the marketplace, fight 'em in the court (or your home court preferably).
No, but Samsung could collect quite a bit for all the infringed iPhone 5's sold in the US. I'm guessing, by 2014, Apple will have sold something like 90 million iPhone 5s, so that's 90 million multiplied by the price of Samsung's patents.
Well you got one part right at least, Scamsung certainly can't beat Apple in the market place, you are right there.
Well, considering Samsung's 100+% growth yoy and its worldwide marketshare, it doesn't take a genius to figure that Samsung is winning in the market place. It's just the US market where Samsung is struggling - that is, Samsung's growth isn't as astronomical as its worldwide sales ..
Really... what is with this name-calling fetish around here? Scumsung, Crapple, Fandroids, Appletards, Microsucks... sometimes it feels like majority here is not above 10... or, at least, seriously challenged...

I won't have to. You'll know.
These patents are not FRAND.

Not enough. Samsung has a whole lot more of significant patents.
This is how you differentiate an engineering company from a design company who patents rounded rectangles.

This needs to be an instantly bannable offense.

Yeah, I'll know if Jessica Biel decides to move in with me, too. I don't think that's going to happen, either.

I believe only two of them are SEP; all others are utility patents.

Apparently, there is no LTE patents infringement claim in this case (yet). Samsung has twice as many LTE patents than Apple, though.

You're acting as though they could ever possibly win any sort of lawsuit about this…
Ten lives I'd think!

Moderators aren't doing their job. *hint hint*
