I'm sure I'm missing something here, but I'm not sure what this offers that makes it better than Pages. I've done quite a few flyers and newsletters in Pages which have been whipped out quickly and have received loads of complements. I also have InDesign, which I use when I need to do something in ways that Pages doesn't allow, but generally prefer Pages because I can produce results in far less time.
I have all the same apps, I just love page design applications. At that price I just had to add it to my collection.
$1 - $2 Dollars off? Is this worthy of even such a mention? I realize I'm not even supposed to post on something like this, but $1 off? Is there such a distinction? Mind you please that I do not really understand, however I am learning. Is this "breakthrough science"?
So someone who had purchased a $400 tablet (or I'm my case $1,000 with cover) was told that their favorite App was now $.99 in replace of $1.99. Yea goes the world!
Thank you AppleInsider!
Good news!
As my grandfather always says "Good G'news are better than bad G'news." If you read that, please google it. You might like it!

I think the bigger point here is that, while I'm glad to see a couple of developers getting in on the Black Friday deals, there aren't any particularly exciting deals here that make me want to jump.
Now if someone like Omni got in and offered some tools I'd like to have but can't justify the cost of (such as OmniGraffle and OmniPlan), then I'd be excited. Then again, Call of Duty 4 is still showing at $7.99 so that might be one software deal I decide to buy...
