Just because Motorola cancelled their work on the G5 doesn't mean it is dead. I don't know why the worded it like that. They even state that IBM will provide the fastest chips for the pro models so obviously the G5 lives in one form or another. I see this as a good thing. Motorola just couldn't provide. Funny how this completely reverses the previous situation. Now its IBM that will provide chips for the pro models.
