    New specs, new price. <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

I bet the 667 is significantly faster than the Superdrive iMac, though

I looks like it's gonna take at least 6 months to a year before prices come back down to what they should be right now!

    just to add perspective... IBM thinkpad a31p: $3,419, 1600x1200, 1.7 GHz, 60GB HD, 256MB Ram, 64MB ATI Mobility FireGL, CD-RW/DVD Rom, 10/100 enet, 802.11b, bluetooth, 15" display

not saying its better... but it puts the improvement of the G4 laptop in perspective... it is good... but not incredible... (I know... the ibm is bigger/less batery life...) what do you guys think?

Hey, four out of five ain't bad.

I think I'll be plunking down my money for that one. I'll wait until August though, as I don't need it until then. I figure there's a slim chance they'll do a "mini rev" and get some built in bluetooth.

uhm... is it? on the spec pdf, it says "line out", no word of a line in there. would be nice, though.

Actually, both the emac and the powerbook have audio in. Hope that means new powermac's will also have audio-in.

Hard as it may be to believe, the new Ti's are current hardware.
