Tim Cook is an incompetent CEO who needs to be replaced before any more damage is done to AAPL. In one year he has destroyed two decades of Steve Job's legacy. Cook makes Steve Balmer look like a Warren Buffet. Time to sack his skinny butt or at least replace him as CEO ASAP!

    Replace him with WHOM?

Did it ever occur to you that Tim Cook is not there to please you? It's greedy investors such as you that destroy the economy. Do some real work for a change and do not expect others to earn your money.

Tim Cook has made a lot of changes that will be good for Apple in the long term. Short term stock price fluctuations - I couldn't care less. Stock owners should understand a company and invest in companies they believe in with a long term perspective.

You made what you think is a bad investment - get over it. Nobody forced you to. Stop whining.

All I need to know is that Steve Jobs trusted Tim Cook to lead Apple. That says more about the man than any number of idiotic attacks by whiny, slobbering, self-entitled trolls who think they have a shred of a clue of what it takes to lead and run a company like Apple.

If you're going to make such a statement, and it isn't sarcastic, it should contain reason rather than slander.

MJ Web, there are other ways to get attention in life, as opposed to just being controversial and not making a valid and substantiated point.

apple requires... so apple gives the stock in options?... so top execs get a bonus (an employment stipulation ... "i will not accept apple's offer of employement unless i get three times my base salary in stock"!)

genius... apple only hire only those top Executives that it wants, so that Policy is a great bonus for those top execs that are hired...

probably is Already in place... but this just spells it out...

Looking at the $$$ rolling into Apple and the unprecedented profits piling up, this is a great time to buy Apple for the long term.  Let it get cheaper so you can buy more shares!!

You did leave out the /s tag perhaps or that was the dumbest thing I have ever seen stated on this forum...

    If you look at this:

    http://finance.yahoo.com/q/it?s=AAPL Insider Transactions&desktop_view_default=true

You will see that the Apple top management has been cashing out as fast as was seemly last year (Cook's holding is down to arouund 13K shares at this point).
