You can tell the European employees don't really get into the Walmart style cheering and "woo hoo" cheering. Only Americans like to "woo hoo" - everyone else thinks it's painfully idiotic. Once the American store opening staff leave it will become much more subdued.

This is utter nonsense.
That is utter nonsense. You have NO idea about anything outside of the US. Certainly not of other cultures.

It will become more subdued after the Grand Opening day party?? Wow. Really?! Are you sure?
Because here in America, every Apple Store I go into has the entire staff at the front door, high-fiving and hooting and giving out t-shirts to every customer, all day; every single day of the week. I'm surprised it's different in Europe.

No one from any country anywhere in the world at any time in the history of human civilization has ever been excited enough about something to cheer for it.
Except Americans.
This is what you're saying. Talk about utter nonsense.

Better video here
It looks like the early entrants are getting a little gift box? What was inside? Too small for a t-shirt.

I was at the opening of the Los Gatos, CA store and the tee shirt I received was in a box just like the ones in the video.
It's amazing seeing all those people lining up just to get stale non-innovative products for their uncool parents./s
