Engines have been invented that run on atmospheric heat, a form of solar energy.. These engines will need no fuel.
First pointed out as possible by Jacob Wainwright in 1903, several of his papers beginning with one entitled: PERPETUAL MOTION of the SECOND KIND or Heat from the Atmosphere a Substitute for Fuel are available as a free book download from google.
The theory behind modern engines that substitute atmospheric heat for fuel can be found in a paper, also available on the internet, entitled: The Proell Effect: A Macroscopic Maxwell's Demon
A prototype piston engine will likely spin a generator and light an LED. Next, desk-top, plastic engines will recharge cell phones and hand-held devices. Examples will be validated at independent laboratories.
Engines that need no fuel can be scaled to power homes and replace diesel/electric generators. They will be one of a few 24-7 technologies likely to replace rooftop solar panels. Others are expected to provide an on-board recharge for electric cars, giving them unlimited range and the potential to become power plants when parked.
Learn more under: NO FUEL ENGINE on the AESOP Institute website.
Following independent laboratory validation, a numbered production run of 999 desktop plastic engines will be auctioned.
