1. Noone gives a shit about the Nexus 7, nor it's successor.
Some people do give a crap about Nexus 7, and its successor (please learn better grammar, Slurp).
True, Nexus 7 market penetration is small. But so is Mac market penetration compared to Windows. Does that mean no one gives a crap about Macs?

So you think it's mind-numbingly idiotic to announce a product before one is able to deliver it? Are you calling Apple mind-numbingly idiotic for *prematurely* announcing the Mac Pro? The new iMac? What are you, some kind of Google troll? How dare you mock Apple thus?

Never ever. Except when they do. So who really has a clue about Apple's marketing methods? Not those who insist they never announce products until close to shipping.
Loyal Apple customers who are open-minded do care about other products. Those who don't aren't well-informed, are they?
IGZO is revolutionary? So that would make Sharp revolutionary?
You are obviously goading with a blunt, obtuse instrument there, but I'll answer you anyway.
The basic R&D by Sharp and SEL may be brilliant and revolutionary on its own, but it's nothing if no companies with deep pockets (billions upon billions) like Foxconn and Apple recognize that there is life yet in LCDs and develop the refinement, until OLED matures. That's where the revolutionary brilliance lies, bringing the difficult technology to market at a mass scale, gambling on extending the life of an older technology,
Sharp can't do it on its own, Sony can't do it, only Apple and Foxconn jumped on it. And then Samsung, once they saw what those two were doing. Or so it seems.

I could therefore imagine that the iPad 5 won't start before 32GB.
Nope.
True.
