Samsung has peaked. Just wait until 5C hits China Mobile: you can smell the panic mode already.

It also hopes to restore confidence by installing antivirus on their smartphones.

Samsung is all downhill from here. Time for Apple to switch it's lawsuit crosshairs to Google.

    Pay, cheaters. Pay.

    Samsung is doomed!

My  reaction to  samsung is that  they just announced  a wearable product just  to get a reaction of people.  Honestly, i think it will be a half baked  product.   The thing i love about Apple  is that Apple does not release products until they are ready .   Why do you think that it took Apple a bit longer  to roll out 4G with the IPhone?  This is simply  because  apple wants to make a great product for there customers.  I would  rather wait for something to be ready then have it be half baked.

Does size count? Obviously Sammy is just waiting for Apple to release something so it could have another crisis in design.

Bigger screens, overclocking the same CPU used in other high end Android phones, bloating their phones with duplicates of Google's software.

Yeah! That's what I thought, too. In other words, no innovation.

I was wondering why Japanese customers claimed Korean/Samsung products are low quality! I had personal experience now. My daughter got a Galaxy Note II 6 months ago; and, it is already broken. At first that she could not text out any more, than phone could not be charged. I took it back to Sprint, the dumb tech claimed that battery is bad; and wants me to buy a replacement battery for $54 after some testing. I took it to a Chinese battery shop; and he said that the battery is ok. It is just the phone jack is broken. Got me a $15 battery direct charge and phone is fine now. If it were iPhone, I would got a new phone and out in 15 minutes; whereas I spent 2 hours driving around for nothing. Thank god iPhone 6 is out in few days. Will switch phone and the phone company!!

After seeing that hideous watch, I can see what the concern is.

According to TabTimes: "Analyst slams Galaxy Gear smartwatch as ‘a prototype masquerading as a commercial product'."

It's not only ugly, has a short charge life, but doesn't do much more then a dumb watch.

Consider that, in addition to the screwed watch announced today, Samsung's days of supplying tons of stuff to Apple are also numbered.

AI hasn't mentioned it but Quallacom came out today with a watch as well. This one seems to have some design behind it...

    I can definitely second that.

I've had Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, HTC, and Apple phones, and the only brand that failed before I chose to replace it was the Samsung. It specifically stopped receiving calls. Calls always went to voicemail. Sprint said, "too bad, sucks to you. Can I sell you a new phone?" I switched carriers and phone. My dad had an earlier Samsung phone (Android 1.6) where half of the screen stopped responding to touch input before the contract was up. And when it did work, it was stuttery and slow (frankly all Android phones were of that era) and you had to tap buttons several times for it to respond. He replaced it with the iPhone 4S, which is way better. I'm not claiming my personal anecdotes are a large enough sample size for drawing conclusions about quality, but it's enough to convince me not to spend my money on it.

The competition in the smartphone market is definitely heating up. Especially for the makers of Android phones. Samsung's offerings are definitely being matched by Sony and LG at the moment. It will however take a while for these companies to come up with something that will be able to match the Apple iPhone in terms of functionality and ease of use.

Well, didn't realize that Apple invented the share buyback program. /s  At least Apple is consistent in taking credit for stuff they didn't invent.
