Apple releases iOS 7.0.3 with support for iCloud Keychain, Touch ID tweaks
Following the unveiling of its latest iPads on Tuesday, Apple released iOS 7.0.3, the latest minor software update for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, bringing about iCloud Keychain password saving integration with the newly released OS X Mavericks.

With iOS 7.0.3, users' passwords and other data can be saved and synced across devices, safely and securely. iCloud Keychain will keep track of account names, passwords, and credit card numbers across all approved devices.
A new Password Generator has also been added to the Safari browser, giving unique, hard-to-guess passwords for online accounts.
iOS 7.0.3 also updates the lock screen on the iPhone 5s to delay the display of "slide to unlock" when Touch ID is in use.
In addition, the update also addresses an issue where iMessages would fail to send for some users. The update also reportedly fixes a bug that could prevent iMessage from activating.
Other changes in the update, according to Apple, include:
The update is available for iPad generations two through four, the iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, iPhone 4, and the fifth-generation iPod touch.

That being said, still not available from Software Update on my iPhone 5.
It was available via iTunes iOS update when I plugged in my iPhone 4, now updating my iPad mini.
Wow, that's a lot of bugfixes in a point release. Don't recall ever seeing such an extensive list before.

Any idea how they segment the distribution?
Doesn't show up for me either on my 5s.
Didn't show up on my 5s until I turned off wifi and used LTE only. But once it did appear it required wifi to download it
Turned wifi back on, returned to update screen, go. Weird.
I wonder how many security issues the latest point upgrade of Android addresses.
If hisory is any indicator then it is certainly less as there would be less security issues to address. Last year there were 387 documented vulnerabilities in iOS compared to 13 in Android (source: Symantec Internet Security Report 2013).

Yo, tough guy, you forgot to add some crucial data from the report.
Page 35 after those cool pictures you looked at also said this
"The vast majority of vulnerabilities
on mobile systems were on the iOS
platform. However, the higher number
of vulnerabilities is not indicative of a
higher level of threat, because most
mobile threats have not used software
vulnerabilities."
Sorry to kill your "gotcha" moment

And yet in attacks Android is the far and away more popular target it seems. From the same source, Symantec, one year back (what I found fast):
"Symantec Corp.’s Internet Security Threat Report (ISTR) for 2012 was released on Tuesday. Buried among the data on targeted attacks and data breaches is some very interesting data on mobile vulnerabilities and malware. Of 108 new malicious programs for mobile devices identified in 2012, Symantec found, 103 – more than 95%)- targeted Android devices. Just one mobile threat targeted Apple’s iOS operating system during the same period."

You're absolutely correct. No one was debating that one (or even asking about that).
Security was the issue: attacks are realization of the issue presented only theoretically in "vulnerabilities"..
I'm wondering if Apple is staggering update availability based on IP address ranges to avoid overloading their servers.
I got the options to upgrade when connecting my 5s and Mini thru iTunes.
iPhone 5s upgraded without issue.
The Mini failed mid upgrade, lost everything. It had me restore from the backup it had made at the beginning. 2 hours later it has restored all the apps but my movies, music, and some other data are gone.
That was easy...
Edit, the reduce motion is better, I do prefer the new fading but miss the parallax which was subtle and cool, wish these had separate toggles.
The instant lock any time you hit standby on the 5s with no option to extend like on the Mini is still annoying.
The lackluster look and whimpy text and overly bright screens are still here, oh well..
Quoting myself because I just downloaded and found out that yes they have infact addressed the iMessages and copy and paste issues.
