I have a Zagg Folio keyboard case with my iPad Air and I absolutely love it. With a larger iPad I would want to have more than one app open at once, otherwise I don't much see the value, at least for me personally. I do use the Air in landscape a lot, I'll say that. It seems that a lot of utility would be lost if it were bigger as right now it seems perfect for couch and bed. Larger and it seems better on a table or desk.
It seems to me that if Apple is playing with a 12" touch screen then they have solved the touch/keyboard/mouse problem to their satisfaction and are ready to come out with a touch-based laptop.
