May 14 - Matrox Parhelia
Thanks to those who don't consider NDAs sacrosanct, the Matrox Users Discussion Centre has reported on the new Matrox Parhelia.
Highlights include built-in 10-bit DVD and HDTV decoding and the ability to run Quake 3 in a triple-headed 4800x1200 resolution config at over 100 fps.
No word about mac availability and not sure about price (it's a long, confusing article), but enjoy.
Below are four links gleaned from the Matrox Users site.

Matrox seems to want to regain the crown they lost many years ago, and playing it clever, like this, would be the best way to *own* the mac market.
Of particular interest is the 16xFAA, and the glyph rendering for text being taken over by the GPU. All only on Win32/Linux so far, but I'dd like to see a dual next-gen G4 with DDR RAM and AGPx8 for this puppy
