on an unrelated note, does anyone have a pair of iPod headphones on that they DONT wont? I kinda broke my right earbud... guess i'll just have to buy a new iPod or wait for apple to release headphones with a remote </strong><hr></blockquote>
I was on the 4/5 headed uptown from battery place to Grand Central. Transferred to the 6 from there, got off at 51st.
The pod people were on the 4/5 though. Didn't see any on the 6.
I keep mine out where chicks can see it. They think iPods are way cool and I'm constantly getting macked on whenever I take my iPod with me. So far it's landed me a total of 3 babes, all of them want me for my iPod. Not bad for $400..that's only $133/ chick, and as a bonus I get the iPod!

hello!
i think you can order extra earbuds from apple, you can find them on ebay as well.... but i think you will pay less directly from apple. try it....
by the way.... i usually walk around union square, east village, west village... and adventurously above chelsea to the galleries on the weekends... i do actually live in chelsea.... :-) and i resemble an asian version of harry potter... i didn't plan it that way, it just happend when that whole harry potter madness started... i get stopped for being harry potter double... it's not so funny...
Whenever someone at school sees my iPod, they immediately recognize it and say, "Is that an iPod? Cool!" Then they ask how much it cost and I sheepishly admit that it was $400, but that it's worth it. Well, that's only the guys who already have MP3 players. If they have a hard drive type, they usually tell me that I got ripped off. If they have a flash media one, they are usually surprised at how much it can store. Girls like it too
I do feel a little bit worried, though, about the reports of some iPods dying out of warranty. I asked a couple of people at the Apple store about how long the battery will last before it needs to be replaced (probably at extremely inflated cost by Apple), and they guessed at 3 years and 1 year. The guy who said it was 1 year also pointed out that all iPod warranties, including ones for units that had already been purchased, may be extended to one year because of all the complaints.
Geez, I sure hope this thing doesn't flake out on me, because I sure as hell can't afford another.
