The toasted bunnies! They need to flame that damn alien in the new iMac commercials. Or like have the other aliens throw the Pentium 4 alien and his computer out the airlock! Then they set up the iMac 2 and the fun starts. Am I making sense?

Arg. The ad should be the recorded cheers of the crowd at the macworld where the new iMac is revealed.

"If you want to be this happy, get an imac.:"

    maybe this is better:

Just because the world is round, doesn't mean your computer has to be.

    (glamour shots)

    (hello (again)) shot

    fade to black

    Say hello to iMac. Again.

    (Apple logo)

    Think Different.</strong><hr></blockquote>

    Another good idea.

EmAn, your posts are starting to get very predictable.

I hope they pull a 1984. Spend a ton of money on it, I don't care. Just no spinny white commercials with Jeff Goldblum and 60's music. <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

[quote] The Joy of buying your first iMac

14-year-old girl watching out the living room window

    Checks clock...just then:

FedEx pulls up, and runs for door

Her and her daddy sign for the iMac

Jump cut to her bedroom room

Show her and her daddy setting it up

(clock on wall shows 4 minutes later

    Do the "registration" process

Get online inside of 7 minutes

    Pan right and back

Shows old beige PC on floor with keyboard and mouse hanging out of trash can.

    Share the joy. iMac.

    <hr></blockquote>

Actually, my ideal Apple commercial is:

"Dude you're getting a Dell! WTF are you thinking? The $Apple_Product kicks its ass in so many ways."

Even better: Some kid that looks like Steven going: "Dude you're gettin a dell" to some little kid. Then the kid starts crying.

I think we may see "Say hello to iMac. Again."

Or maybe if its really thin:

    "Slim. Fast."

(ok, or maybe that could be a future TiBook slogan)

So why does Jeff Goldblum's <a href="http://homepage.mac.com/jeffgoldblum/PhotoAlbum2.html"; target="_blank">Beach Album</a> Look a lot like <a href="http://homepage.mac.com/steve/PhotoAlbum.html"; target="_blank">Steve Job's</a>? Man, he needs to get off his ass and put pictures of his own family up.

Well, Apple has always been the fashion police of the PC world, so they'll probably just show a front shot of the machine, list its many features, then do a quick pan to a profile shot adding "...and this year, thin is in."

    My fantasy commercial:

A bunch of US Special Forces beating the living crap out of Dell's 'Steve' idiot ... concluding with ...

"What we all wanted! Brought to you by Apple and the new iMac"

  • Reply 39 of 68
Fantasy commercial? How about just "You know those cute little animated aliens you see playing with the Pentium 4 chip? Well...

...they were made on a Mac.
