One good thing about this new G3 is that it supports a 200Mhz bus, at least according to the IBM .pdf file. That should give it some room to grow. A 1GHz G3 with a 133, or 150Mhz FSB wouldn't be too bad.
[quote] But when Apple says "32MB VRAM recommended for optimum performance," I would expect any new hardware from Apple to be sold so as such so that 10.2 runs as good as possible.

if you buy a powerbook you will get a system that will use 10.2 with optimum performance....if you buy an iBook you will get a system that uses 10.2 well, but not with optimal performance...
if you buy a ford focus, it will drive well and do everything you need from it
if you buy a boxter, it we drive better, faster, smoother....
an entry system is never as good as the top of the line...and one always has to move up to get "optimal performance"....g
