Towers

    1.More front bays

    2. Front USB&FW ports

3.more internal IDE controlers (133) to have more bootable internal HDs

The other I really have little intrest in but perhaps:

    iPod

1.Bayonet conector under the FW port. That is that the FW port can be replaced at a low cost, as docking and undocking the iPod will brake the conectors

    i agree 100% - front fw/usb would be excellent..

but seems to go against steve's 'designer' ideas..

...so put 'em under a flap !!?

All: Bluetooth, AirPort, FireWire 2 all standard.

PowerBook: Less flimsy, no more scratch-off paint, larger screen.

iBook: thinner, cheaper combo drive/14" models, SuperDrive

iPod: Cheaper, recording ability, and either swapping ability or an ethernet port

AirPort Base Station: better admin utility (improved router functions, reliability), statistics (like the Xserve's neat management software), bluetooth and USB/FireWire ports for print/file sharing, more ethernet ports (it's twice the price of most four-port wireless access points), cheaper.

iMacs are okay, could be cheaper.. PowerMacs we know are going to be great, come July...

    PowerMac G5

266 MHZ bus with DDR Ram

    8x AGP

2 Full Size Drive bays with enough space for a Cd Burner. I don't like carring my burner around.

AltiVec 2 with support for legacy applications.

That new card from Matrox, they say it's pretty good.

    Blue tooth

    fireWire II

    AirPort 3

    and a Special Mac Rendevous

    PowerBook:

    Way Faster Processor, (G4.5)

    Even Better Air Port Reception.

Extra Can of Grey paint to paint over the scrathes.

    Built in video input

    Free FCP 4

    iBook & iMac

I don't really have or have hade any of those so, i really don't care what happens to that line.

    iPod :

    FM Radio Tuner

    iApps:

iMovie already got old, we need iMovie 3

iPhoto needs to get smaller in size. ¿17 MB for such a worthess app? Some people still have modems apple

iTunes is ok for me how it is.

    A Tablet would be nice

Plano is basically part of Dallas (it's a rich NE suburb) so it's hardly the middle of nowhere. Bloomington is an odd one; I guess it's fairly close to the Twin Cities and to La Crosse, and not too far from Madison, but still... Can't speak to the others.

And why do so many people want widescreen iMacs? The only reason I'd ever want a widescreen is if the monitor were truly enormous (cinema display) or there's not really any room for it to be any taller (powerbook). If you're giving me a 17" monitor, I want it at a nice 4:3 aspect ratio. There's more than 12% more working area available, and you know that everything (except a movie) is designed with this ratio in mind. Don't have to worry about all those full-screen apps (frequently games, I admit) being stretched or having wasted space to either side or not even knowing how to display themselves. And, given that most documents are vertically oriented, you can see more of a document. I don't get it.

    Okay. I'd like that!

But I'd like it with a Nvidia Geforce 5 with extra Apple only features which further accelerate the visual elements of the 'X' Os, Multimedia and a special 'help' 3D 'render' co-processor on board the graphics card.

    400 DDR.

New, more narrow, compact 'power'Mac case in'ibook' white style. Big 'G5' letters on the chassis (so we can carbon date the machine as 'proof' that the 'G5' actually exists...)

Superdrive 2 as standard across the range.

    Top two configurations dual processor.

512 and 1 gig and 1.5 gig of Ram standard configs.

    Hard drives? 80, 100 and 120 standard.

    Rapid Io stuff.

I'd like to see cut down versions of Maya or Lightwave and Photoshop Elements bundled with the Powermacs...and a free copy of Quake III.

    And gravy on top.

    Ummm. Gravy....arhh...ahhahh....

Dude, the Bloomington store is in the Mall of America. Largest mall in the freaking country. Get a clue.

Whoops, my bad. I just saw the topic and started posting, didn't realize there were guidelines.

    Well ok then

    PowerMac

    1) Rapid I/O

    2) DDR333

    3) 2 full size drive bays

    Powerbook

1)ATI FireGL 7800 Mobility or nVidia Quadro4 Go w/64 MB DDR RAM

    2) higher resolution screen (1440 x whatever or something)

    3) faster optical drive

    iBook

    1) G4 processor

    2) ATI Radeon 7500 Mobility or nVidia GeForce4 Go

    3) 13.3" screen and 3 lbs

    iMac

    1) option for 17" (higher resolution)

    2) nVidia GeForce4 MX

    3) 133 bus

Umm, where did you get the idea I like games so much applenut? I own about 2 computer games, and I don't own a PS2/Gamecube/Xbox whatever. The majority o the time I find video games to be pretty stupid and boring if you ask me. The computer games I do own I play about a couple times a year.

As a wish / but not expected

MHz and Bus aside, I?d like to see design pushed further. Allowing for functionality

    All

    INSTANT start up:

    Laptops

    LIGHTER:

HANDLE: designed as a screen arm allowing for a 16:9 wide screen to rotate - functioning in both landscape and portrait format.

A FOLD OUT COMBINED TRACKPAD/TABLET (min 10cm x 8 cm) for use with both finger and stylus with buttons: larger size for better movement and removes the trackpad from below the key board and allows for change in form factor.

    Mouse

I love a single button, But for the multi button users

Either a two way single button mouse.

Or a flexible polymer at the nose of the single button mouse that can register pull/push pressure ? acting as a wheel.

    Ah just dreaming
