Who's Our Apple Employee? Please Step Forward!

Last time AI was up and running we had none other than Sal Saghoian reading the boards. At BadFlamingo, we have RedApple. So who's been assigned to the rejuvenated AI? Sal again?

Apple must not know that we're up again. Quick, somebody email Steve Jobs and see if we can get him over here.

Oh, I believe you, it's just a bit sad that we have to get our rumors from ex-employees. What will they know that we don't already know ourselves?

Well I asked him about the Newton and if there will ever be a new one. He said there's no chance in hell. Steve doesn't want to get into that market. If you guys have any questions, I can ask him.

OK I'll come out Amorph, but I read and post to this (and other) boards on my own. I'm not reporting back in any formal way, but i do pass some information on in my weekly reports. An example of this was when I got my first look at the Sony MV series multimedia computer on this board, I sent a comment on it with a "heads up" to R&D to take a look at a "Digital Hub" and even commented on the use of the term "Digital Lifestyle" by Sony with this product line. I did this not to alert Apple legal, but to let them know that, as I put it, "Sony will be eating our lunch with this one."

I have signed an NDA but i'm not worried because they don't tell me anything anyway. The iPod was a surprise to me. G5? I don't have a clue. Flat panel iMac? I felt sure we would release it @MWNY.

I have never once gotten drunk with Junkyard Dog, but if he's buying I'll try it.

Well this isn't going to happen for some time, because my friend at Apple is on a top secret project and he's not even allowed out of the Cupertino skunkworks.

Basically Steve Jobs hand-picked a team of employees to work on a new project, and during the initial 6 month development stage, none of the team are allowed off campus. They must eat, sleep, and work all within the secret underground skunkworks. Conjugal visits are allowed but not encouraged--however, Apple-provided escorts are available on demand for brief 15 min. breaks. The team members are served the finest of foods, the best wines, and the kindest bud. This is the very heart of Apple, the essense of what gives Apple products their soul. It is rumored that for this project, Steve Jobs himself holed up with the team for their first 4 weeks, but few know for sure.

Last I heard my friend was working 19 hr days and undergoing a creative-stimulatory regimine of daily excercise, nightly bong hits, and weekend LSD trips. Steve Jobs implemented this brainstorming strategy as a way to break out of the "beige box dogma". He succeeded with flying colors.

So as soon as my friend gets a leave of absense from the Cupertino campus, I'll see what sort of info I can pump him for. But don't get your hopes up...he suspects me of being Junkyard Dawg, and I don't think he's ever going to divulge much to me. Word has it that Steve had a few lawyers planning on how to build a case against me, but they finally gave up because I've technically done nothing wrong. Coercion with intent is the most they could nail me for, but since alcohol was involved they will let it slide....or so I hear.

You are close JD, very close... Just like mushrooms, Apple keeps us in the dark and feeds us male bovine excrement. A review of your posts suggests to me that you have spent some time in Apple's skunkworks cafeteria.
