First off M$ doesn't make nearly as much money off windows as they used to. A large % are still running 98 for christ's sake. M$ makes a huge profit off of Office for mac. If they didn't, do you think they;d have the largest development outside of Apple?
As for the $150 mil of stock, I belive Apple bought it back, M$ didn't sell it back.

It's money, M$ won't drop Apple because they would be dropping profits. That's stupid.

Once the G5 is at 2ghz, the P5 will be at 5+ghz and AMD's new Athlong will be at 4.5ghz. The 2ghz G5 machine will still be 2-3x as expensive as a faster PC.<hr></blockquote>
Fanboys are funny. For some reason they think exaggeration is the way to win an argument. Simply, the G5 will be what Amd and Intel are now doing seperately. That coupled with such a tight integration of digital products, leaves the bloated and glutted wintel market very vulnerable to a system that is so simple and clean. The extra money for the Apple is not stupidity but what the product has to offer compared to its bastard cousins.
