OK, as far as Apple's new "device"...This is what I want to see!! Replace the crap USB with firewire, add 3 parts Apple industrial design, and filter slowly through SJ's RDF, and ya gotz my money!!

A digital camera that required an ipod to work is just about the dumbest idea that i have ever heard. I really doubt that apple would require us to buy a digital camera for probably 800 bucks and then want to charge another 300 for an ipod? And how would you attach the two have a firewire cable hanging off your camera with an ipod attatched.

P.S. for me it would be a pain to convert all of my mp3's over to mp4 for use with an ipod.

Lemmie see... iPod $399. "Mine" $599. Hum... $200 for what? A slow usb connection? The ability to record? (I see I a firewire mic in the future of iPod). The ability to look at pictures... but NOT take them? Who carries 1000 of pics with them? What's a wallet for anyway. I don't buy this "mine" thing at all. It'as asking to be run through the washing machine. Carry one of these things and you get instant "japanese tech freak" tattoed on your head. No thx. I'll take my iPod anyday.
