The screen is gray/greenish just like any other monochrome LCD screen - color LCD screens are black when turned off.

The gray/green points to passive-matrix (DSTN), whereas active-matrix (TFT) go black when off.

I know, because I have owned both, DSTN and TFT-Notebooks

Yes but can you make a DSTN in colour? I think it is impossible but I could be wrong.

BUT I am 100% sure that Apple would never make anything like a PDA with a passive matrix display.

So what! Should't it be green by your reasoning then?

    How does this display black:

No, according to your logic it should be gray, and it probably is... anyway my cellphone has a color screen and its still grey. It depends on how the lighting is implemented...

I'm not saying the iWalk is real. but your argument might not be valid.

<in my best Arnold voice>"You are one UGLY mutha fuc*a" ...at least the iWalk's jog dial looks like it might actually belong.

that fake letter from apple disappeared from spymac... whoa, how unexpected...

actually, all that stuff about the iWalk completely disappeared too...

Now they're saying that the top rated rumors they'll have from now on will be "so accurate you can bet your house on the accuracy of the text"... yeah, right...

I think the biggest mistake is the fact that his hand casts a dark shadow over a backlit screen.

    It gets better:

They are going to pay for inside information as long as its legal to share? Oxymoron or just plain moron?

Oh, that's funny. A great Catch 22. "I'd pay you, but you must be under NDA with information like that" or else, "This information isn't worth paying for."
