By not changing the tagline, Apple has created a self-fulfilling prophecy: How many people are staying up late waiting for Apple to tell them they are about to have a sleepless night?

Ah, well back to SNL (I'm on the West Coast).

Looks like they read these forums and took my advice:

    <a href="http://forums.appleinsider.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=10&t=000446"; target="_blank">http://forums.appleinsider.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi ?ubb=get_topic&f=10&t=000446

See my 5th post on this page.

"See if I worked there, I would read all these forums and wait till like 12:10 to post the new slogan and see all the havoc that would cause."

Of course, apple.com still does not have it.

Maybe they are indicating silence in the pro line... meaning no fans (as was just mentioned) *and* no moronic little speaker in the front of the tower (of course, making room in the compact tower for a second optical drive ).

    Just a thought,

That would be pretty good since the current ones are so loud.

Um, I think that there is no hidden meaning here. Just that we only have one more night of lying awake wondering what is coming...
