My comment on that was it doesn't but there's isn't much if deference is my point. Siri uses it for words that she can't pick up I don't see cortana has that at start. Any ways
Basically she does some things Siri doesn't do in a way but I don't see what the commotion is about

What commotion? It's just a feature. More commotion from the "meh" brigade.

FFS Microsoft, can't you leave anything alone?  Cortana?  First of all, just stupid to use a Halo name for a mass market product.  And B, just pathetic that executives thought that would be really "cool" or "neato" to use that name.  Lamers.

Right, it's very stupid to use the name of one of the most popular characters from an extremely successful game that is instantly recognizable and reminds people of an extremely intelligent AI. Very stupid indeed.

Didn't Cortana go a bit crazy at the end?

Why is "Cortana" any less meaningful to the public than "Siri"?

    Ooh, don’t spoil it for me; I haven’t played 3, 4, or 5 yet.

They used Cortana as an internal codename and were intending to call it something out. But after a user petition received more votes than any other on the win phone user voice site within 2 days of being raised they kept the name and got the same actress to do the voice.

Rumour is that voice actress who voiced Cortana in games will voice her in this app, and I think this is nice - she does have great voice and the whole concept warms my gamer's heart a little bit.

The only thing is, there should be "Cortan" male voice/personality for female users - well, everyone who would prefer male personal assistant in general.[/quote]

Is not a bad name. The only thing i dont like id that is sounds like "cortina" which is spanish for curtain. And "cortan" literally translate to "cutting" but they sound good ????

The name 'Cortana' reminds me of brown, boxy Fords from the 70s.

What does Siri have that you think Cortana doesn't? You have to outweigh those "small differences" and "nice features" with plus points for Siri if you're going to justify this indifference.

    iOS.
