If I want to listen to music I can buy I do that. First I start at the stores here in Copenhagen. If I can´t get it there I go to <a href="http://www.gemm.com."; target="_blank">www.gemm.com.</a> If I can´t get it there I try the library and make mp3s (legal here). And if that fails THEN i try the internet. Right now I am looking for live bootleg recordings from the 92 rollarcoaster tour w/ My Bloody Valentine, Curve, Jesus and the Mary Chain etc. You can´t get that in the stores.

I am audiophile, always try to get vinyl so believe me: MP3s are always the last solution for me.

Some of it isn't available in ANY record store that I can get to. Specifically, various concert recordings, Japanese music, live tracks, soundtracks, and many older recordings.

nop, he's talking about something else. you are reffering to audio galaxy (which sucks imh).

Anyway I tried out aquisition, but It needs better searching sorting for files that can be downloaded. Limewire has that good fast search thing (speed reeper I think), that filters out all the slow users so that you can always get a download on any of the results. Aquisition needs something like this. But at least it's a nice program!!

Good night. 27 replies to this thread and no one has meantioned the fantastic program <a href="http://www.biggerplanet.com/unsupported/sputnix.html"; target="_blank">Sputnix</a>. It taps into the Audiogalaxy network, which, imho, is the fastest, best integrated, and most stable mp3 trading network out there. The new version of Sputnix is rigged so you can search from the client (even though it has to open a web browser to show results and queu downloads.) Really great. *Tons* better than MacSatellite.
