Very soon my Mac setup will be changing. It'll be a while, though, b/c I still need to go purchase some lights and wires and some new attachments for my Dremel.
Here's a pic of my naked PowerMac I took yesterday. BTW, that white LED is bright as hell without the button to mask it!! I had to stand up a book in front of it last night so I could get some sleep!
Here is my untidy setup. I used to have a cool setup before I got this G4, loosing the Powermac also meant loosing the scanner, video card, and sampler...of course I wouldn't swap back .
Yeah I'm still alive fortunately, although I haven't been in the best state. I've been upset by a lot of things, especially since Kent State lost last night. Damn, that would've been sweet to have them playing in Atlanta. Still Elite Eight is awesome. Too bad I don't have anybody to cheer for now. My teams always lose, and the teams I hate win. Also other sh*t but oh well.
Anywayz I need to get a digital camera still and Im waiting for a few things Ive ordered to come . Hopefully I will finally be able to show all my Macs soon. I'll be adding on too.

You need to use an allen wrench to remove the hex screws. The handles home off without a hitch. The sides, however, are latched on in the center of the Apple. So, you actually have to completely remove the motherboard, fan, and all to pop the apple out. It's a painful process. I sanded down the inside of the Apple so it would pop off easier in the future without having to remove everything inside.
Spock asked a similar question of Jim Kirk as to why he was climbing Yosemite Park's El Capitan mountain.

Besides, that's not the finished product. My little project has been stalled for time restraints, but I'm determined to get the parts I need to finish everything within the next week.
<strong>I'm really surprised at all the people still running OS 9. I guess if your old peripherals don't work then you have no choice.

I use OS 9 as my primary OS primarily because there are still no drivers for my HP Scanjet 5370 and no OS X version of Quark XPress. ( I could finally use it in classic though.. thanks to the modern magic of USB dongles)

Here is my desk:
The computer is currently a G4/400, 512MB RAM, 60GB + 20GB 7200rpm Maxtor HD's, internal Toshiba M-1212 DVD-ROM, 6MB VRAM, ATI XclaimVR 128, Orange Micro FireWire/USB PCI card. On top of the computer you can see my AIWA stereo, with the DSL modem on top of that, with the LaCie (Yamaha) 6x4x16 SCSI CD-RW, with an Asanté 10/100 8-port Ethernet hub on top of that. My 3GB VST Firewire HD is the blue thing above the floppy drive, and there is also an Iomega ZIP 100 SCSI drive to the left of the stereo that you cannot see here, plus the Wacom Intuos 2 6x8 USB tablet to the right of the computer, sandwiched next to the UMAX Astra 1200S sacnner. I should also mention the MacAlly iShock USB gamepad, Kensington USB Orbit Trackball and SanDisk CompactFlash Card Reader.
The desk was free, you can see how it sags under the weight of the two 17" Apple monitors which were also free. The HP DeskJet 870Cse on top helps hold things down... Beneath the desk to the right I have a PowerBook 520 running as a router for the DSL connection, as well as serving as a decent firewall. There are cables which nearly encompass the entire room, from the other left channel speaker (not pictured) to the RCA video cable running from the Xclaim to the TV behind my chair (good for games and DVD's!) also not pictured.
I encourage you all to post pics of your super-messy desks too.

I couldn't agree more, still it's reasonably early days for dvd yet, my videos have a few more years. I have started collecting DVDs now though.
