Don't get me wrong...I love that "myths" thing. I just hope it isn't too little, too late and too weak.
Instead of an afterthought or an addendum, I believe they should build an entire campaign around it, REALLY getting that stuff out there to the public.
I, too, know about 4 PC users who are "this close" to buying a new iMac, so that's cool.
I'm just irked that it seemed to take this long for Apple to address that whole thing, and when they did, it's not a bit more visible, that's all.
Everything talked about in those "myths" was true one, two, three or more years ago.
Why just now?

I almost think that apple finally feels that it has a diverse and different enough product line form the PC world to actually start drawing people in. And also that they are now trying to grow marketshare instead of maintaining what little thwy have. There has been a marked difference in Apple the last few years. Before the iMac and Steve Jobs return I could count on no hands the amount of Apple ads I have seen on TV. None. Now? Quite a few, and during some of the more popular shows. Some are better than others, but it is starting to get the word out again. I think Steve has big plans for this little fruit company and he has definately gone a long ways toward making Apple more mainstream again.

I just get impatient sometimes.
All in all, Apple's lineup (hardware AND software, including OS X), combined with their direction, innovation and all, is the best it has ever been.
A very, very good time to be a Mac user and I've extremely proud to count myself among the few.
The few. The proud. The overcharged.
