    Nice try.

I have an iMac, iPad Air, iPhone 5S, MacBook, and an Apple TV.  Why?  It has nothing to do with the logo.  It has to do with a combination of trusting Apple tech based on past experience and the fact that I seriously prefer OSX and iOS over the alternatives.

On the other hand, both my HDTV and BD player are Samsung (though when I replace my HDTV this fall, it will definitely NOT be a Samsung).

I buy Apple because I trust Apple.  I buy Apple because my experiences with the company have all been positive.

Good for you.  But that doesn't mean that other people doing a similar thing aren't doing it for very different reasons.

Except there's no evidence for it.  The person making the original claim is the one upon whom the burden of proof lies.  He does't get to just make any wild claim, then act as if his statement is itself evidence.

    Where's the evidence?

That's the first time you've asked for any, you originally just insulted him.  Don't start acting coyly innocent and rational now.

When did I suddenly need to ask for evidence when someone is making a claim?  Back it up or shut the **** up.  These are the rules.  These have always been the rules.  These will always be the rules.

I honestly don't understand what's complicated about this.  It's pretty close to straightforward as you can get.

    See how that works?

I see that you're being an ass.

Stating an unsubstantiated opinion is fine.  If you think it's questionable ask for evidence.

Stating a malicious lie is not fine.  And you're an ass.

An unsubstantiated opinion IS a lie.  It's sad -- very sad -- that we've gotten to the point in "modern" society where it's considered "fine" to just throw things out there criticizing large groups of people, with absolutely nothing to back it up.

The fact that yuou see no problem with this at all is highly worrying.

:???: No it isn't.  An unsubstantiated opinion is just an opinion with no attached evidence.  It could very well be the truth.  Or just an opinion, a matter of taste.

    Weird statement you've made there.

    Point to a single one.

EDIT:  Actually, please don't.  Not that I think you'll find a genuine malicious lie from me anywhere on this board, but I really don't want your bullshit invading another thread.  Just shut up instead, k?

Get a new catchphrase please.  Preferably one that bears some relevance to reality.  Alternatively, shut up.

Maybe just read posts before replying to them, okay? Thanks.

I do.  And I'm capable of responding with more than one cardboard cutout catchphrase.  You could learn something from that.

"read posts before replying" indeed.  You've waded into this thread guns blazing and you have the nerve to say that?  You're ridiculous.
