Sweet. I like the display most of all. My crappy-ass monitor (free!) sucks.

murbot, you need to grab a handful of cash from the giant pile you have sitting in the middle of your living room and get a nicer table. Heck, maybe even some sort of computer savvy desk. That plank-and-two-saw-horses dealy just isn't doin' it for me.

Take a trip to your nearest Ikea and get their "Jerker" (snicker) desk. Lots of Mac users have them (me included!). They even have them with silver trim which will match the color of your new Mac.

Hey, I kind of like this simple desk.

Ikea? Where do you think I got this from?

I was gonna say Home Depot.

Don't you think a new computer demands a new desk? Keep the lamp though, that's good.

I also notice you're missing the huge mess around your work area, which is customary. You know, piles of CDs and stuff. Better get on that.

Aw shucks, I'm just yanking your chain. The table's fine. Especially since you don't have the customary rat's nest of junk to deal with. You really should check out the "Jerker", though. I think it would go good. Don't by the upper-shelf part, since you have those two nice windows.

I like it, less noise from the tower, and I can still reach the CD tray easy enough. Having the desktop clear is pretty nice too.

OK I admit it. I'm bored tonight.

edit - made 'em all thumbs (I just spent over a month on dial up - I feel your 56k pain)

I'm bringing her up with OSX - no need to teach her an ancient OS.
