     TROLL

You've been here for all of what, 5 seconds and you already picking a fight with someone. Not just anyone one either, one of the funniest, kindest, intelligent souls AppleInsider has to offer, if you go after him you go after me. Now knock it off before I tell your mother.:p

Edit: Sorry I shouldn't have jumped all over you, just be more careful who you pick on next time. I am one of the oldest members, I have seen many, many users come and go and I can without a doubt say the Benjy The Frostman is not a Troll. If you meant it or not your post does fits a certain profile, "I have been an Apple user for years but the competition offers something better, I just don't know". We've heard it here for years. You can be an Android user here, we except all types, I'm one, I own at least one tablet from every Mobile OS. But I love all technology and I'm forward about it, I don't play the passive aggressive sneaky card, "oh I just don't know". Yes you do, do you need an SD card and like the screen better on the Tab S, great you've made your decision buy it and regardless of what people say around here, that screen is pretty fabulous, then come back here and tell us all about it. Some might reply with a snide comment or two but that's the fun part, you get reply with a rebuttal and hopefully it's an intelligent one.

I've been an all iPad household since the original ipad having purchased 3 of each iteration plus an ipad mini.  For the first time EVER I'm actually curious and interested to see the new Samsung product.  I'm a heavy Google Apps user (gmail, calendar, docs, picasa, etc) so the Samsung would do most of what I want.  That said I do not think Samsung has priced itself any differently than the ipad, have they?  Maybe the only big advantage is if you load up the memory.  In this case Apple will nail you for a few hundred more while you can buy an SD card on the Samsung and add up to 128GB for a pittance (something I think would be $300 or $400 more in ipad).

Anyway the screen ad is more appealing in terms of hardware feature for me.  The split screen is minimal and I believe apple will have that in their OS pretty soon anyway.  What's my next tablet?  I don't know yet.  And that's the scary part because I always knew 100%.

Whatever. Tell you what, I'll keep using iPads. Keep asking yourself what to get.

Where can I get a 128GB micro SD card for a "pittance"?

Last time I looked they were still expensive.

Today they announced they're bringing their premium "Level" headphone/speaker line to the US,. Prices will range from $149-$349. Can't put my finger on what it reminds me of.

Samsung is in negotiations to buy a home automation company called SmartThings. Again it reminds me of something others have announced but can't put my finger on it.

Samsung has actually been dabbling in home automation for quite a while now, the refrigerator we have in our winter house in Disentis is a Samsung Smart home appliance, we bought it 2 years ago. They also sell smart washer and dryers, those silly robot vacuum cleaners, air-conditioning units, etc. All controlled by a phone or tablet, this move by Samsung might seem like just another attempt at copying but for an electronic manufacture that also makes home utilities it's a logical step to expand their current efforts in this field.

By no means am I trying to belittle your efforts of dissing Samsung or am I defending them, just thought conversation needed more info on the story.
