How about calling it "Apple ID"? Or "Apple Touch"?
Do California apple farmers already own those trademarks?

Why not Apple Touch ID as that differentiates it from Kronos? Same way ?TV differentiates from TV.

*shrug* People argued they were confused between a Samsung phone and Apple phone when one clearly says "Samsung" on the front.

Apple Marketing Department not doing their homework before dreaming up a cute name for their button. FAIL.
