Lol, take a look at this site

<a href="http://www.ihateapple.com"; target="_blank">www.ihateapple.com</a>

It amazes me how these people have nothing better to do than create a website dedicated to bashing a computer platform...Must be frustration.

[quote]"The real purpose behind this site now is kind of an anti-advocacy site. I find that there are a number of Apple advocacy sites out there that are heavy on the hype and light on the facts. This is just my little poke back at them."<hr></blockquote>

Funny that this ONE site is right, and ALL the others are "light on the facts."

[quote]"Despite what some think, it is perfectly possible to have extensively used Macs and still find PCs to be better suited to your purposes."<hr></blockquote>

Yeah, these people are called "hard-core gamers." Games are generally a waste of time. Any mainstream software for productivity that is found on a PC is probably made for a Mac, too. But you all already know that, don't ya'?

Oh, I'm cool as a cucumber. One thing I've noticed is that PC users like to bash Macs a lot more than Mac users bash PC's. Maybe that's just me. Really, are there many specifically "PC's suck" web sites out there?

Oh, and on the spelling, indeed I spelled it incorrectly. Changing now. Dumb English language.

Well, it's a very small fraction of PC and Mac Users on both sides. Oddly enough, though, there's rampant M$ bashing all round, which i think is healthy

PS it's d e mentia, the root being 'demented' (which i guess is de -loss- and ment -mind, mental-)

    ciao,

Yeah - I'm thinking PC users are jealous that they can only afford a $300 PC that is half as fast as a $1,700 Power Mac G4. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

    Still LMAO at this one:

Don't PC users ever admit that Macs are better? Of course not. They just try to find every way to make Windows like the Mac. Have you ever noticed how many Mac and Mac-like skins there are for PC programs (WindowBlinds, WinAMP, etc...)??

And it is hard to find Windows skins for Mac.

I can now officially no longer spell. I've rebuilt my "spelling desktop" and think I may have my signature right now.

But to stay on topic...I agree, it's funny how in almost every way PCs progress, it's been a "hey, Macs can do THIS now. Let's do that too."

To piggy-back on my last post, I remember one perfect example of Macs leading the way during the adoption of USB.

I worked at Best Buy at the time, and I remember saying to customers, "This (PC) also has 2 USB ports. They'll eventually be used as another way for peripherals to connect to your computer, but the standard is still under development."
