Yes, it's glitchy at times which is why it's on a demo loop.  It's far less glitchy than the iPhone was where Jobs had multiple phones around because it would crash when it ran out of memory.

Slide to unlock doesn't make all that much sense on a watch because of how often you would want to look at it but that means no security - maybe they'll have a gesture unlock.

The security is that it's on your arm.  There's no real need for a lock unlike a phone.  When you remove it from your arm it probably locks until you unlock it from the paired phone for anything that needs to be secure.

The drawing app for sending gestures looked bad because the watch can't be held steady like a phone, it's one hand only, so if the strap isn't tight enough, the watch face moves around making your doodle look really rough (the plus is that people who want to draw intricate penis shapes will be foiled but to those people that's a downside).

It's attached to your wrist and it's for doodles.  There's not enough screen real estate to really draw on it anyway beyond a heart or smiley.  As far as stability goes placing your thumb on the watch with your drawing hand should provide all the stability you need for anything you can draw on a tiny screen with your finger anyway.

They have a while to get the software running more smoothly but I don't get why so much of this looks rushed when it's been in development for years.

They have to send it out for approval if they want to ship next year.  Once that happens it gets outted so now is the right time to demo.  Again, the iPhone was in much worse shape at this stage.

The focus on health is a complete misstep.

Health was the part besides timekeeping and communication they were willing to share at this point.  Especially with Healthkit being released.

That the watch will have other areas is a given.  For me the apps I look most forward to are remote apps (cameras, house, phone, car, etc) and digital wallet/keys (to pay for stuff and unlock doors).
