Might seem like a steep price compared to Hulu, but live stream in major markets plus 1000s of old shows make it a pretty good deal. I'd gladly pay a little more for Hulu if they offered the same.
Not necessarily, keep in mind that the cable provider pay HBO and showtimes 10 dollars a month, while charging the customer 20-25 a month. selling directly to the consumer will allow for the same price, directly to HBO paid monthly, rather than quarterly. Will be interesting, since CBS is now out with theirs as well. This will begin a down trend for monopolized cable companies.

CBS? All those Bose clock radio owners will enjoy their "stories" on the computer-thingy.
