Yeah, when you go over your data cap, Verizon charges overage fees to the tune of $10 for every 1 GB over (rounded up to the next whole number). I don't know about Sprint, but T-Mobile's top tier unlimited plan ($80 a month) is really unlimited with no throttling.

Well, obviously! If you're on a limited plan, wouldn't you EXPECT to be charged for more? But you have the option of adding an addition amount for $10 a month. It was 20GB for $10. That was when I was below 10GB a month. But now, you can add 5GB for $10 a month. I don't know it that for people below 10Gb a month, or if they're still offered 2GB for $10.

But now I'm given 15GB for the same $100 that I was paying for 10GB. So I'm pretty happy. I'm not interested in all of the problems T-Mobile and Sprint have, even though some people here say one or the other is much better. I travel around a lot, and friends with either of those two services have many more outage areas than I do. Not so much for voice service, though that happens too, but particularly for data. Not worth the savings to me.

You can get all you can eat data on Three in the UK for $30 a month and they offer free roaming in the US.

I wonder if there's some clause that you can only roam for so many days in a year though! :)

I wonder about some of those services. Sprint and T-Mobile have problems with making consistent profits, or making any profits at all, because of their plans, and what they charge. These tiny third party services still have to pay the providers enough for the providers to make a profit of those sales. Something's gotta give. Either service sucks, in one way or the other, or they aren't making money. You can't get something for nothing.
