The investigation should be focusing on voter fraud. Fraud in the sense that voters authorized bonds for school construction and repair. A bond oversite committee was part of the bonds and the School Board and Superintendent completely ignored their findings and went ahead with the Ipad deal.
Not to mention private dealings with Apple and Pearson before the bidding process. LAUSD has plenty of apple products in the system. The problem here was the backroom dealings and using money for technology, that was voted to fix leaky faucets and lead tainted pipes.
