Interesting perhaps but often filled with inaccuracies, half-truths & childish insults.

It's not really funny - just disingenuous and intellectually weak.

I disagree with you both. There's more to it, and there are more reasons Android is a steaming pile of malware...
I'm well aware that you're part of the member group that truly but erroneously believes that. If your primary source of information about Google Android comes from AI articles it's completely understandable why you might think that too.

Google keeps track of the expression "steaming pile of malware" - do a search and read 420 more references to android (duplicate references omitted).

wait -- so youre using the presence of a first-person pronoun to declare, definitively, that it is he? because, um, nobody else could write a fake post pretending to be him*, using a first-person pronoun? thats it?

*and yep, there are people here insane enough to do so. take BJ Frost or pauzu and their compulsive posting needs, for example...
It's been WELL documented that DED/Corrections & Prince McLean are one in the same.

Plenty of other sites you can go to if you prefer a homogenised view of the world.

The greyness of the people in Apple's 1984 ad campaign springs to mind, if you can't handle DED throwing the odd sledge hammer at the mainstream, then what are you doing here?

Such as if you want to use Amazon or Samsung App stores?

    3rd party software installers.

Amazon's App got booted out of Play the other day, was that because it worked as a third party installer?

Exactly. If you want to bypass security and use 3rd party appstores, even those like Amazon or Cydia, be smart. Why anyone needs to use Amazon's store instead of Google Play isn't clear to me anyway. and what have you seen on Sammy's site that makes disabling security settings worthwhile? Cheap clone apps? Cydia is a different story of course. In any event If you "catch a cold" by wandering outside it's nether Apple nor Google's fault. They don't condone it even tho it can be easily done.

Amazon's old app WAS removed at Google's request, and a new one has now replaced it. Re-read the articles you've already seen for an explanation of the change.

I don't follow.  How is DED sockpuppeting under the name Corrections in the forum section "throwing the odd sledge hammer at the mainstream?"

Writing well researched articles questioning mainstream views.

DED can use any alias he wants, just like you Mr Droid f*ck the world, to use the old prison tattoo meaning of FTW.

The crapware Samsung phones are preloaded with demand this change of settings when they try to update themselves.

They are the number one Android vendor so a lot of Android users are having this decision forced on them.

So much crap, Android just sucks.

Well researched eh? Such as this one wherein Daniel claimed that the Wirelurker virus was never patched when in fact it has been patched for months?

DED's articles weren't in question, we were talking about his sockpuppeting and that's when you interjected with, 'if you don't like it you can get out'.  If you're going to be confrontational, at least know what you're being confrontational about first.

Interesting moderation going on in this thread...

The flow of the conversation is now broken as posts get deleted and the remaining posts take on new, unintended meanings with the lack of full context.  That's always disappointing to see on a forum.

Well, I'm certainly not going to repost anything that got deleted so it can get deleted again and I receive an infraction for doing so (nice try though).

    Time to move on.
