The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are indeed the best phones that Apple has come up with, and I'm not surprised that earnings are in the rise at their two biggest markets!
This is why I think Apple should report total iOS devices (iPad+iPhone) and not separate them.
The lines between the iPad Mini and 6+ are blurred.
It will also not give Wall Street an excuse to bash iPad sales

Apple are going the way of Amazon and making their reports more and more obscure. Considering the lack of profits at Amazon, I don't see this as a sign of confidence.
