Which is why the iPod never got more than 60% marketshare...
That was the result of creating the best and most convenient devices and ecosystem on the market, not because the sought after marketshare by putting profits, quality, and the customer in the background.
So the iPhone isn't the best and most convenient device and ecosystem on the market?
If you care, you invest. I believe this is pretty universal.
Some people beat their spouses, others cheat on them, and others do even worse things to them. If @Benjamin Frost says that his wife has a net value of $0 who are we to argue with his stated lack of investment in his marriage.
I said no such thing, as you know.
I guess some people like making weaselly statements; it makes up for other parts of their lives that are lacking.
I said Apple dominated the PMP marketshare because of their focus on specific areas, not inspire of. I did not say that every market would work the exact same way, but we can look at the iPhone market to see those same motivations to make the best and most desirable device regardless of marketshare still putting Apple as a top vendor and, dominating profitshare once again, despite your wishes for Apple to falter with the iPhone 6 series to prove some point about your niche wishes.

You stated your wish has cost you nothing, not me. Everyone I interact with rewuires some sort of investment from me, and I assume vice versa, save for the sociopaths and such.
$0 price? I won't believe it even if I see it. No woman comes at $0, mate :-D
It's possible as some people don't invest anything of value to the people they say they care about.
I wouldn't suggest that you, SolipsismY, beat your wife or cheat on her, anymore than I would suggest that you, SolipsismY, sexually abuse children.
However, if a person regularly pays the services of a prostitute for affection, then I would regard him as being more inclined to do those things. Your suggestion that it is better to pay for love is something that I consider morally vacuous and lacking in integrity. I was brought up to learn that it was better to earn someone's love, not to pay for it. You appear to come from a different culture.

Each to his own.
You're odd jump from domestic violence, to not just rape, but the rape of a child is very, very, very, very, very disturbing.
Honestly, it's so disturbing I almost missed your next comment about you equating putting effort into a relationship as equating to prostitution. I don't even want to know your definition of love if that's the case. The only other option is you don't value your time, but that seems unlikely. Yes, I come from a culture of equality so I don't see women, homosexuals, people with a slightly different pigmentation in their skin, or different religions as being inferior to me. And while I don't agree with your stance I do support your right to not see other people as people.

You have stated that you think it’s better to pay for the love of a woman - prostitution - than it is to earn the love of a woman.
That's a viewpoint that is not shared by most of the human race, who find it despicable, but you are welcome to have that view of the world. That's as far away from a culture of equality as it is possible to imagine.

Got it.
Way to not see the forest for the trees.

Who the heck would want an iPhone 4S right now. I can only imagine the experience is less than great, especially if it's running the latest software.
Third world countries.
Third world countries.
Don't knock third world countries the people who live there have the same right as others to buy Apple products if they want and have the money.
