actually guys for ppl who just do web browsing and webmail it does everything the Air 11.6 does, with same screen, resolution and battery life, and for $149. And much less to worry about dropping it or losing it. Come to think of it, since it's all cloud-based, if you lose it, you lose no personal or secret info, and you just get another one and log in, and everything is there.

the insides of a average phone don't cost much at all these days, and they are mass produced in Asia, that's what's inside the cheaper Chromebooks, simple. Even Intel e.g. Mac laptops do not cost nearly as much to make as you think.

It looks like the Chrombit stole the ideas from the forthcoming new Apple TV.
I'm pretty sure Apple stole the ideas of, oh, let's see: Chromeboxes, Chromecast, FireTV, FireTV stick, Roku, WD media stream devices... Just saying.
It's not crazy.
