maybe i missed something, but what happened to Macintosh? last i heard he was banned, but then reinstated. was he banned again?

Yes he was banned again. Despite the warnings , that made the admins , to him, he continue to act exactly the way he use to do in the past. So he is banned forever. Sometimes peoples does not want to learn : they have to support the consequences.
I recognize a few of the regulars around here and I remember "Macintosh." I did not know he had been banned. It's funny how these simple message boards can become such a complex arena for arguments, monologues and diatribes.
applenut, if you don't mind me asking... what district does she work in? When I lived in Queens (district 25) there were some Macs but the last few years more PCs were bought. I'm not sure about how the district that my dad works in is currently(6) but I know they used to be all Macs (at least his school) but I don't think so now. From what I've seen the last few years, the NYC board of ed. has been getting Macs, just not as many as they used to.

District 8 in the Bronx. It is 100% mac. a few dozen pcs are being bought this year simply because the budget software they are forcing down the administrators throats is incompatible with any mac web browser
