I'd say prostitution, but that would be redundant.

A bakery! (points if you can identify the pop culture reference.)

There will be an active eBay market for band swaps. You can't buy the silver sport with a black band, but you can buy a second black band, then sell the other color you purchased with the silver "watch face." Yes, this will come at a bit of a cost.

This is clearly a guess here, but I wonder if Apple will change this 6 months down the road. I understand their logistics challenge - many, many SKUs and tracking and manufacturing to order - but having a "personal device" that can't be configured in a combination you prefer simply because the vendor won't combine or exchange the available parts they make and supply is...not customer friendly. Angie might want to reconsider this - and she might be doing so as we speak.

Exactly right...would be nice to choose which watch and which band you want and have it shipped that way.  Forget about a SKU per combination.  The bands all have a SKU anyway since they can be purchased separately.  Actually, it would be less SKU's since each watch would only require 1 SKU then add the bands.

Maybe they want to make sure you get a band so you don't get a $50 discount on the watch without a band and get one of the aftermarket.  You know Ebay will be filled with them soon for a couple $$ each.

I believe that you cannot buy a first-purchase car that is not fitted with tires. For sure, it wouldn't pass the Highway Safety Regs, and I doubt that a new car dealer would let it off their lot without one.
