Evernote adopts new Plus tier and revamped Premium option, Airbnb comes to iPad
Evernote on Wednesday added a new Plus tier to its notetaking services, simultaneously changing up its Premium subscription, while Airbnb introduced a native iPad interface to its iOS app.
Premium has been upgraded to allow unlimited uploads and bigger individual notes. That option costs $6 per month, or $50 annually.
The iOS app runs on iOS 7.0 or later, while the Mac software needs OS X 10.7.5.
In its iPad incarnation, Airbnb primarily provides larger photos of accommodations and better itinerary and messaging views. The extra screen space is also, however, used to make it easier to apply filters when browsing, such as the number of guests.
The app's standard gallery-style browser can be swept away to reveal a map view with each listing marked by price. Tapping on a price tag pops up a cover photo, and tapping on that photo's overlay text jumps users into a full listing.

It costs $3 per month or $25 per year, and enables things like 1 GB of uploads per month and the ability to convert emails into notes. I think some cities will start cracking down on these rentals eventually with ordinances to stop it. The residents are extremely unhappy with what happens to their neighborhoods when property owners effectively turn an apartment building or residence into an unpermitted, uninspected, unlicensed hotel.

Now I wish Dropbox would do the same.
I use Dropbox... as do many of the people I collaborate with. It's great.
But I need more than the free tier (currently 3.25GB)... but less than the 1,000GB they offer for $100 a year.
Come on Dropbox... meet me in the middle. I can't be the only person who feels like this.
I bet you'd sell more subscriptions if you offered something between FREE and $100. That's quite a big jump there.
